Small Retaining Wall Installation (Prescott Valley, AZ)

Location

Prescott Valley, Arizona

For this project in Prescott Valley, we installed a small retaining wall along the side of a shed to help stabilize the slope and keep the soil from washing out during heavy rain. The shed sat on a natural dirt incline, so the goal was to create a solid, long‑lasting barrier that supports the structure and gives the area a cleaner, more finished look.

We dug and leveled the trench, then set the Versa‑Lok blocks to establish a strong, stable base. From there, we continued stacking and leveling the wall to match the grade of the property and ensure proper support.

The finished wall helps hold the hillside in place, improves drainage, and adds a clean, functional upgrade to the shed area.

ABOUT US

Raptors Edge Landscape & Gardening, was built on a simple belief: great work comes from people who genuinely care. Founded by Martin Bojorquez Jr. and Manuel Ortiz, two friends with nearly 20 years of hands‑on experience, our company grew from a shared passion for quality, honesty, and treating every property like it belongs to a neighbor.
We’re not just here to “do landscaping.” We’re here to build something real — a company where craftsmanship matters, people love their work, and every project reflects pride in our community. From the start, our mission has been clear: quality comes first, people come first, and Northern Arizona deserves a landscaping company that shows up with heart.
We bring a friendly, down‑to‑earth approach to every yard, backed by professional standards and a commitment to doing things the right way. Whether we’re maintaining a property, caring for a garden, or building a new hardscape, we focus on consistency, communication, and the small details that make a big difference.
Raptors Edge isn’t just our business — it’s our way of contributing to the neighborhoods we grew up in, one yard at a time.
